Kyle Shury graduated with honours from the University of British Columbia in 1993, with a Bachelor of Commerce and a double-major in Urban Land Economics and Finance. His early years were spent in land acquisitions for developers in the Vancouver area, and then, in 1997, Kyle joined the Townline Group of Companies. Over the next thirteen years, he helped Townline create a successful portfolio of projects, earning the title of Director of Land and Commercial Developnment mid-way through his tenure at Townline.

In 2003, Kyle also created KMS Development Ltd. (now Plat:form), partnering with Townline on widely-known developments like Ikea Coquilam, Lougheed Super Centre and Thunderbird Creek.

Since early 2010, Kyle has devoted himself entirely to the advancement of Plat:form Properties, and looks to the future of this bright company with great optimism.

our story

Plat:form began in 2002 as KMS Developments Ltd. Collaborating with the The Townline Group of Companies, KMS was involved in the creation of numerous high-profile developments; Ikea Coquitlam, Thunderbird Creek and Queensborough Landing were among these. In early 2010, Founder and Principal, Kyle Shury saw yet another opportunity for success: to take KMS to a whole new level. Plat:form was born.

In the tradition of KMS, Plat:form will continue to build on opportunity and relationships, with a quick and nimble approach to the ever-evolving business of property development.
